Select items from pick ticket for outbound shipment

Lift, push, pull, grab, slide or pack items up to 10’ long up to 100lbs

Move with assistance and pack items exceeding 100lbs

Verify all outbound orders for accuracy, photograph all outbound freight shipments

Assist with material movement in and around all areas of shop

Maintain accurate inventory counts & assist with inventory record keeping

Able to move pallets up to 10’ safely with pallet jacks and motorized pallet jacks

Ability to modify and create packing crates using hand and power tools

Process shipping labels with accurate weight and record keeping from UPS, USPS, FED EX and others

Accurately uses measuring tape to verify product is correct to description

Undertake training and become proficient in Forklift operation

UPS is hiring individuals to work as part-time Package Handlers.

This is a physical, fast-paced position that involves continual lifting, lowering and sliding packages that typically weigh 25 - 35 lbs. and may weigh up to 70 lbs. Part-time employees usually work 3 ½ - 5 hours each day and workdays can vary (Monday – Friday) or (Tuesday – Saturday) depending on the building needs. Package Handlers typically do not work on holidays.

Package Handlers receive a competitive $13.00 hourly rate and also an attractive benefits package. Please note that these opportunities are part-time only working approximately 17 1/2 – 25 hours per week.

Tower Hands/technicians support all aspects of tower installations, including all antennas and transmission lines.  Must perform construction duties on a daily basis ensuring quality construction throughout the site build to include, but not limited to, civil and line/antenna work.

Essential Function:

May perform installs on radios, antennas, and associated RF equipment Trouble shoots Alarms / RSSI issues at sites using supplied sweep gear. Perform electrical down tilts and mechanical down tilts to a variety of antennas using supplied antenna controller units. Run power and fiber jumpers as needed to complete ongoing scopes of work.  May devise jumper connections with knowledge from connector training. Complete required equipment and supply paperwork.
