Position:  Blending Operator

• Starting salary is $11.00-$14.00 per hour based on experience.
• 2 weeks paid vacation, 6 days paid personal time, healthcare insurance and 401K available.
• No experience necessary, we will train you.
• Hours: 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with possible overtime.

Job Description:  Clean maintain and organize the Blending Department. In Includes cleaning: floors, totes, drums, buckets, hoses, pumps, tanks etc.  Keep raw materials organized.  Manufacture liquid bulk product to support filling.  Follow written Standard Operating Procedures to safely and accurately measure all chemicals as they are added to the process vessels.  Operate the plumbing systems in the plant including the hot water heater and steam boiler.  Operate pumps, valves and fork trucks. Requirements:  Math skills are used on a daily basis to perform this job. A simple math test will be issued to applicants.  Good documentation skills are used on a daily basis to accurately and timely record all tasks.  Heavy lifting of bags, drums, pallets, buckets etc. is required every day.  Must be able to drive a fork truck.  Must be able to wear personal protective equipment for long amounts of time including; rubber gloves, respiratory protection, apron, face and eye protection.  Must be able to work as a team, multitask and pick up work started by others and accurately hand off work to others.
