Though the ideal candidate would have prior “Office Furniture or Furniture” assembly/installation experience, or moving/handling experience, it is not required, as we will be happy to train you as long as you have a strong work ethic and are reliable.  

A typical workday consists of the following:

1)      Arrive by 8:00 AM, unless the schedule for a specific day requires an earlier start time.

2)      If deliveries are scheduled for that day, you will work with the Supervisor of the Warehouse/Installation team to load the truck with the client’s furniture, if it weren’t already loaded the night before. 

3)      You and the Supervisor will drive to the client location.

4)      You will work together to unload the product and place it in the client’s desired location.

5)      You will work together on any required assembly of the product.

6)      Any packing materials are to be removed from the client location.

7)      The Supervisor will ensure that the client is satisfied with the job and completes any paperwork.

8)      Upon returning to the Warehouse, any trash/cardboard is placed in the designated area for future disposal. Any tools are put back where they belong, and paperwork is turned in to the office.

9)      When no deliveries are scheduled, prepping furniture for future deliveries and / or working in the warehouse to keep things organized, is the priority.

10)  When Vendor shipments come to the Warehouse, unload, carefully check to ensure no damage on delivery, and turn in the receiving paperwork to the office.

Other Information:

Hand lifting limited to approximately 50lbs or less. Heavier product is handled by more than one person and / or with the help of Pallet Jacks, Carts, Fork Lifts.

Hours: Typically, M- F 8 - 5 but in some cases after-hours may be required to accommodate the client.

We prefer that the person has a clean NY State Driver’s License so he can drive our vehicles, but it is not an automatic disqualification if not. No special license is required for our vehicles. You must however, have reliable transportation to our facilities.

Starting Pay: $15-$18,00 per hour based on experience, with time and a half overtime. Subsequent raises based on performance.

We are looking for an Electric Motor Component Manufacturing Assembler. (MEDIUM to HEAVY ASSEMBLY WORK!!) The position would be starting in motor building or Frame & Field Assembling. Training may then move on to material handling with forklift responsibilities. Once quality and productivity levels are achieved, then possibly more training will be conducted in other areas. Plenty of room for advancement if performance levels are achieved. Mechanical & Forklift skills would be a plus.

TableTop Gaming is a new worker cooperative with an online store specializing in the sale of board games and collectible/trading card games. We are seeking a Store Associate to help run a physical storefront in Syracuse, New York.

Responsibilities include:

  • Interacting with visitors and handling purchases.
  • Communicate with the Store Manager regarding equipment and inventory needs.
  • Coordinating with packers/shippers for sending inventory externally.
  • Voicing your availability to the Store Manager to assist with the creation of the store’s operational hours.
