EOC Informational Session on National Grid Programs

CNY Works will be hosting an Informational Session with Syracuse Education Opportunity Center (EOC) on the National Grid Customer Meter Service Technician Certificate and Telecommunication & Cabling Program in the Iroquois conference room on November 8, 2018 from 11:00 a.m. to Noon.

Technician Certificate

A 12-week partnership between the Syracuse EOC and National Grid

Start Date: January 7, 2019

Academic Eligibility Requirements:

High School or equivalency diploma required

Valid Driver’s License

Must attend a program orientation

Successful completion of written and physical agility test

Telecommunications &

Cabling Program

This program is designed to prepare you for entry-level installation positions

in the telecommunications and cable t.v. field.

Academic Eligibility Requirements:

High School or equivalency diploma required

Must score 8.0 Reading score and 7.0 Math score on TABE exam

Must attend a program orientation and program interview
