Meet your Veterans' Advisor

A Veterans Benefits Advisor with the NYS Division of Veterans' Affairs in Syracuse will offer a presentation every hour on the hour, from 9am through 3pm, except for noon. Veterans can attend any session – there is no advance registration.  After an overview of what the Department of Veterans' Affairs (DVA) offers, the Advisor will answer questions and offer appointments for more personalized, in-depth discussions at the State Office Building downtown.  Please note:  the  DVA is providing a $20 “NY FreshConnect Farmers Market” coupon to every Veteran who attends!

The DVA understands that Veterans are entitled to a broad range of benefits at both the federal and state levels, but many Veterans aren’t fully aware of everything that’s available to them, or how to access these benefits.  The goal of this presentation is to help Veterans navigate through all of these benefits so they can make the most of what’s available.
